Went to the Horn of the moon road today for the first time. Had a blast. Realized my little 4.5 inch tall tires just arnt going to cut it. So I just placed an order from ckrc for some new rovers

I went to the Woodbury quarries and found a spot that is great for scale rigs, it is a big waterfall with a little water that flows down an old road had a blast. Good thing I am waterproof because a few spots are pretty deep.

I found a sweet spot in Johnson today. Its called dogs head, there is a large section of rock that the river has shaped into some very fun lines. Would be very good for scalers. And there is the constant danger of your rig getting wet. Its pretty exciting. I killed an hour there today easy, and ill be there next sat with full bats.

I broke mine. rolled it and it ended up side down in a near freezing puddle for about 5 sec ant the above mentioned spot Haha. Long story short, I need new electronics. Ill get them after this holiday rush. Any body have a some nice indoor spots to crawl now that its cold? I brought some rocks inside my appt, but its super small. Hope to have the cralwer up and going again by end of jan. All my money has been going in to my 1:1s.

Edit: Im looking for a dual motor ESC and RX if anyone has one? Deff does not have to be fancy, just has to work.

Alright! Im back up and running! Still using the old radio, couldant get this new one to work...yet. But it seels to all be running good.

Crawl on.

Edit: New radio is good! Everything is working as it should. However, I dropped one of my battery packs on the ground and broke a connection in it. Anyone good at soldering battery packs?

I just got my new trail honcho. I have it mostly built now but I'm still aways from having it done. But my AX10 it ready to go anytime. I wish there was an indoor crawling area. I really want to go crawling.

Indoor crawling would be nice. I have a few rocks stacked in my living room, but nothing to write home about.

Tonight Im going to try and water proof my setup so I can run it in the snow without worrying. Also going to look into studding the stock tires for some ice crawling fun.

Edit: This is my answer to cabin fever! Flash light duct taped to the hood, electronics in a ziplock, Lets do some snow wheelin!

Haha. Yup, thats what the flash light is for. So I can go beyond the outside light and still know where the truck is!
