Unfortunately, for how small the state is we are pretty spread out. I'm in Barre Town, I know others are in Berlin, woodbury, and elsewhere.

I like Jus' idea of going to the gorge. I also think we could make some good day hikes/crawling out of Spruce mountain, and Hunger mountain.

The closest thing to an organized group is New England RC Crawlers, which are based out of New Hampshire. I've been to a few of their events and it's a good group of guys who aren't super competitive.

Keep a look out for good crawling spots in your area too. I can't speak for everyone but if you find a cool spot that's worth the drive I'd meet up with you and crawl up there

Hiking trails that have varying levels of difficulty or resemble a challenging 1:1 *road* are a load of fun for scx10's or other scale rigs. For a little more central crawling location natural ledges and bedrock is really fun to crawl on. Unfortunately in this state most of that is found either on top of a mountain or a river and not always easy to get to.

I'm in the Burlington area. Have a SCX based truck and a friend of mine has a Honcho. We're trying to get a few other people into it. A couple weeks ago I took mine truck up Snake Mountain in Addison. Nice winding 1.5 mile-ish trail with varying terrain. Would make a nice spot to do a mini meet.

I was fortunate enough to spend 1.5 hours at the East Barre Dam yesterday loosing body clips and breaking rod ends. First time out this spring without the snow.

Hows the water level at the gorge looking Jus?

Just a heads up for anyone who might be interested: NERCC is having their TTC the third sunday in May. I'll be attending and would be willing to carpool with other participants (I drive past Bradford on the way there)

That's for sure. All the rivers are downright scary raging right now around me. Even the Connecticut river.

I think it'd be safe to say sometime in mid-late may we could plan for unless it rains A LOT between now and then.
