Default Testing a New Comp Site

It was very cold and snowing some. Nevermind the grabs and saves we were just testing out the site to see if we could make three 2.2 courses and some mini courses.

The camera bettery dies quick from the cold, so we only taped one of the courses.

Not bad Harvo. Was there enough there for a super course as well?

I have never set up a super course, but there was stuff our 2.2's couldn't do. There was maybe enough big stuff there for one super course.

Maybe two Supers but parts of the Super course might overlap the 2.2 course so you'd have to set it up after 2.2.

If it's so small that we can't set up at least 6 courses (2.2 and super) it's a tad small. It's much better for the entire group if all the courses are set before tech. Makes for an easier day on the judges and nobody has to scramble around trying to build courses while trying to charge, repair and run the other courses.

I'm not saying it's not good enough, those are just some thoughts. It does look like a great place. Maybe we can hold a get together or something and try the place out with a bigger group.

Thanks for checking it out for us.

Yup... it may be a little small then. Check out the pics I posted of the Appalachia Power House and Raccoon Mountain Campground in the Tennesse "New Comp Spots" thread. They are definitely big enough!!
