Testing the RC4WD X-Lock tires

I have tested these tires also, and I would compare them to a tall Panther. They work extremely well and are my go to tall tire. You won't be disappointed.

I have not seen a set of these around here until yesterday, and while I'll say they were on a heavy rig, and did very well, I would not go as far as to say that they have any district advantage over a Rover. It had trouble where white Rovers had trouble, and grabbed where white Rovers grabbed. I did not drive the X-Lock Rig, but watching closely, this was my opinion. FWIW.

For the money, I'll stick to Rovers.

Would you say these performed like a tall Panther? Just curious. Looking for a tall light tire myself and want your always valuable opinion I'm running Rovers now. Would I be disappointed in these?

They are a great tire, but I have yet to see anything out do the Rovers. They are very similar to the Cougars. IMO they are too tall, causing a rig to sway side to side.
