|  ETRC: Maybe Another Comp Site
This is the Appalachia Powerhouse at the Hiwassee River. It's all rock that was blasted off the side of the mountain to put the Powerhouse in. It's pretty private (except for a few fisherman), there is plenty of parking, and enough rocks to set up hundreds of different courses. It's similar to Carter's Lake Dam but different. The downside is that the last 15 miles are on gravel forest roads. They are great, all weather roads... and I can maintain 35 - 40 mph on most of them (in rally mode) but gravel none the less. I still have a crappy camera and it only worked for about 10 minutes, yielding only about 4 minutes of usable footage.  Enjoy!Video |
