Default '08 2.2 Scale Crawler - HPI D90 TLT

Found one of my old videos kicking around of my 2.2 scaler from late 2008

Specs:

TLT diffs
Custom made C Section steel chassis
Axial Gearbox
Tziworld 50A ESC + 1200kv motor
2.2 Rock claws on RC4WD Alloy Beadlocks

Build time - 3 weeks

Running DX3R as controller

One video has just been uploaded, but there a 3 vids in total. Was bashing this thing around for about 6-7 months until i converted it over to 1.9's, check my other videos for the new improved 1.9 version running Pede box

In that last video is that a rock garden in the middle of the street?

I wish I had a spot like that. I live on a farm all flat land.

Yea theres a big water feature in the middle of our estate. Due to drought the fountain hasnt been going..ever..i think. Now its just a nice crawling, dried up rock feature

Its about 2 mins from my house, good for all sizes. Ive pretty much killed every line there but its still always fun

Hella jealous of that crawl spot. I'd be there all the time.

You sure now how to set the camera up for sweet camera angles. Got it so you think ur watching a 1:1 scale at times.
Bravo, nice work on all three vids!

I like the paint job btw, whats the specific color?

The color is PS-15 - Metallic Red

Light coat then backed with white

Backed finally with black (after ripping the flare masking tape off)
