Default Snow crawling

Finally had a chance to get in some snow this year, only about 3-4" worth and it was 3* out so the snow was real dry, but still fun.

The truck weighs just under 6lbs right now.
The trick is a good, quality pack. I only run Elite 35C/60C packs from Cheapbatterypacks.com, currently the 1700mah 3S version, but I also love the 2200mah packs. I got an hour out of the 1700 that day.

So how was it?
I bet it was a bit warmer on your side of the mountains than it was here...man my trigger finger was frozen. I need to learn to use a Stick radio so I can keep gloves covering all my fingers

In the teens Funny part is it was the same tamps at home so--we felt right at home. Granted we stayed in a cabin on lake wenatchee and I think it was colder there

Wow, an hour? Dope. I was afraid to run my lipos in the cold, so I gave the old 4200 NiMH a shot. Will be switching back to lipo.

I'm just waiting until there's the normal 6ft of snow at that place here soon, it's even better once you get some snow pack built up and all the rocks are covered.

It's a blast I went outside today(didn't have to drive to the mountains this time, it snowed here the other day) and drove in 6" of wetter snow, a lot tougher conditions....there was quite a bit of winching involved to make it to the end of one of my trails at my local spot
Those are modded Imex Redrocks(8 tires to make 4) and IMO the best snow tire hands down.

Well we don't get much snow down here. I'm as far south in Mississippi as you can go...literally a block from the beach. Hell we don't even have any rocks down here just a lot of sand and mud.
I knew those were no regular tires!

I bet these tires would do well in the mud too, but mud's not my thing

I love snow wheelin'. With a spray bottle and a good pair of gloves you can construct some serious backyard courses.
