Hey guys, thanx for all feedback. The courier really does climb well. Twisted- Ill take some measurements for you. I want to lower it a tad though but ill get you some befores and afters Mike O and here is one more courier vid, nothing crazy but it shows how steep the rock was. http://youtube.com/watch?v=UJajRIOg178 |

I think he's using the old magnetic rocks and ball bearing trick! That thing climbs like a goat! If you really want to show how steep it is you need to have something in the shot that shows the horizon or something vertical to the horizaln. Like a tree or possible the edge of the parking lot. Then make sure whatever you are using to show the steepness is aligned correctly. For instance. If you are going to use a tree, make sure the tree is perfectly (as good as possible) vertical in all the shots. If you are using the parking lot edge or a parking block, make sure its running horizontally in the frame. It will really help. |

That rock is a lot bigger than it looks in the pictures thread! I wish I had a freaking huge rock in the middle of my driveway.

Hey guys thanx for all the positive feedback Guess Ill try to make it to this rock more often for some more cool vids with some of my other trucks. As for you guys who are looking for info on the 4runner check these to posts out: 4Runner SAS 4Runner Phase 2 outer EXO 1st link is the actual build, 2nd link is the exo build. Crawldaddy- The Courier is one of my all time favorite trucks it couldnt be built any better, only thing I did was add some softer springs to the rear other then that it was a perfect build in my opinion Mike |
