Wow That looks really capable. Nice work I would love to see more break-overs next time, I bet it eats them up.
I love the jump at 4:40!!!

Thanks Scott, that can be arranged It does very well on break overs that my Viper Lite, II, and Viper all struggled with. For a first video I wanted to show that is is also very capable of the technical stuff since it is an unorthadox chassis setup.

I need a little more weight up front, I have some steel to remake the weight holders from, I am just waiting on my 11/16 endmill to show up. I ordered one 3 weeks ago and it finally came Tuesday.. and was 11/64 not 11/16 even though the invoice clearly stated 11/16... so I wait...

I also need to extend the front upper links about 5/16" or so, I have been with out a computer to draw it up with all week. I got that fixed last night (hence the video finally) so now I just need to get the rest of my software installed then draw up a template for the new front link mount.

It's all special effects. I hear this new "thing" is terrible.

Thanks TSK! Our rock is about as grippy as is gets. Imagine broken glass shards, sprayed with adhesive, then covered in sand. Blow the excess sand off and you have our rock. I have come home bleeding more than once.

Thanks! The rig as a whole needs a little refinement still, but It is about 95% of where I want it. The chassis is on point though. It is all tuning and a little more weight on the knuckles which I am waiting on tooling to make.

More like what I described for TSK, but yeah very grippy! Too grippy at times.

I thought this was already covered on my faux pas in my build thread, it is not a "thing". But yeah boss, it's horrible, I don't know what Dan and I were thinking when we hashed the idea out... We better start over.

Way to go Dickyt, great job on the Stingray and the video.
What else do you have left to do to it besides the K/W holder?

VERY nice little vid Dicky. Rig looks REALLY good. LOVE the seat hop & the pinnacle climb.

That park looks KILLER. Besides the badass rock you have that glassy pond for me to do hot laps with my Miss Geico.

All in all bro....GREAT video. Usually the helmet cam thing bugs me like the Blair Witch abortion but ya done good.

I want more por favor.

Thanks J.D. as requested I shot a little more footage this weekend before I tore it apart to rebuild with the production chassis this week

Ask and you shall receive Scott

I could not quite get some of the camera angles that I wanted. I have a torn Right hip flexor, and moving around on the rocks was excruciating. But I got a few breakovers and the most difficult sidehill in the park as one course

Nice job. It does really well on the break-overs and that side-hill was impressive. Looking forward to seeing the final production version. That chassis has a really distinctive shape, I like it.

Did you tear your hip when you fell at Nats? That fall looked pretty painful and it happened first thing in the morning.

Nice. I'm looking forward to the build thread on this one. I know that was a proto chassis but she looked LIGHT. Gotta RTR weight you'd wanna share with a brutha?

Get better man.

Thanks Scott No, the flexor tear is on my 'good' side, and is recent. the left side is still healing from the nat's falls too.

Build thread has been going for a while, I publicly shared the last few stages of prototyping:

DT's 2013 UGC Stingray

It is at 3lb 15.7 oz (we'll call it 4lb) as shown in the video. I want add a couple oz to the knuckles and have the tooling and material as of this morning to start that process
