CTG Urban Assault 2 -Sometimes they come back !

Well after postponing this run a few times due to weather and other competitions , the date was set for this day and it was not looking good .
I had thought of cancelling , temp was just below 0 celcius , drizzle , ice fog .
Perfect conditiong for an Assault , but would the team show up ?
Good thing I showed up , we had about 28 trucks ! Drivers were all dressed for the weather and ready to hit the streets !
Except Pat , shows up in a T shirt and shorts !!! crazy .
We left the parking lot headed for the first objective , the Peace Bridge , As we got there we were spotted by a reporter from the local news , CBC .
She came up and chatted with me for a couple minutes , checked out the trucks and stuff .
Turns out they kind of used part of it as a segway to the weather ,,lol
My buddy JD was here though running camera for me and he caught the whole interview .
So this is from the parking lot to the bridge , and CTG being interviewed .
Thanks to all that came out for this !! You guys Rock .
I had a total blast and would do it again for sure .

Here is Part 2 , Across the Peace Bridge into downtown . Heading for the skatepark !

This is the second video of three from the CTG Urban Assault last weekend .
About 28 trucks of all types headed into the core .
A cool, wet dreary evening , bit of rain , ice fog . Perfect conditions for an Assault on the core .
After our run in with the CBC reporter , we make our way across the Peace Bridge to the first pit stop area .
Couple repairs to be made .
Form here we are heading to the Shaw Millenium skate park !!
A little skatepark bash in the middle of a trail run !! How cool is that ??
Too much fun at the skatepark ,, I unfortunatley was changing out the tranny in my scx for most of the time at skatepark .
Good thing my buddy JD was on camera !

The last of three vids into the core !
CTG takes the group downtown !!
An inner city trail run !
An Urban Assault even !
Join us for a totally different kind of trail run .
From the skatepark we head to another park , past a couple bars , stop at McDonalds .
Over to Olympic Plaza , And out through Prince's Island .
This section was late night so all night footage , lights on .

Some cool rigs , trailers , And street lights and street signs and ,,, crazy . Different for sure . Lots of fun !
