Awesome videos! Really enjoyed the scale one! You guys should do a "How to.." on waterproofing. I know there are a lot of threads out there, but a diffinitive waterproofing thread would be a nice read.

If running a non-waterproof ESC: Buy a Hitec servo, you get a nice little box. Put ESC and receiver into said box. Apply silicone all the way around lid and around points that were used to attatch box to chassis. Put more silicone at point where you drilled holes for the wires to exit box. Do this on the outside and inside. Let it cure for a day, check to see if you missed any spots. If running a waterproof ESC: Double balloon the receiver, apply silicone where wires exit. That's it. I run a Super Rooster, sure it's been under water several times but I have now started to box it up tight. At yesterdays comp I was playing around and found a hole that ate the whole truck, only part of the body was showing..... no damage and no water got into my tightly sealed box | |
