my gear mesh is fine i checked it today. its just loud? i hope it will do good in the scale class. i still have to put the servo on the frame but i don't think that will change its performance to much. |

Make sure you run a new spur and pinion. If anything get a new spur, if chewed up at all it'll tend to get loud. Almost looks like you need to stiffen the suspension up a bit in the rear. Once you get the servo mounted on the chassis you'll notice that you'll have to limit your flex up front. Can't wait to get back down to Lithia Park!

i don't have very much travel up front its mostly all in the back. yeah the trucks a little heavier than i thought, but i like mushy suspension. might try stiffer springs this weekend.

Ok, put up another vid of Ryan doing his thing. http://video.google.com/videoplay?do...09297198&hl=en Just so everyone is clear, I'm no videographer. I'm not good at the whole editing and finding cool matching music. I just convert it throw a song I like on it and upload it. I doubt the music is going to match, but you don't have to listen to me get all exited everytime he rights it again. So if you don't like The Steve Miller Band, turn the volume down when it opens up. |

It's only 280-ish miles Brett. I'm sure you can talk everyone else up there into coming down here for the comp. |

To be honest... I highly doubt it. No one likes to be more than 30 minutes from home, wimps. I'd drive down on Saturday after work, arrive in Ashland around 9pm, go get toasty with some friends... wake up early and crawl over to Lithia Park I don't work on Mondays so I have no fear of returning Monday morning. I'm trying to actually plan out a time when I can go down that way, has to be before April.... that's when that freakin' Shakespeare Festival starts to get going, although not as bad as it is around June/July but I still can't stand all those "people". I can't even count how many tourists I have almost hit when I used to live in Ashland

Go snap some pictures of the White City Ponds area... see how big those rocks are that Trail Tough helped get placed in there. I know out at Applegate Lake it'd be a cool spot for crawlers and people alike. There are tons of places around the Central Point/Medford/Jacksonville/Ashland area. Just have to hunt them down. Damn..... this is when I wish I still lived down there! Get ahold of Nissan231 on our ORCRC board, he's in Medford and has a few scale rigs...PLUS he works for the BLM and should know of some good places
