Smile Ok, the 2nd vid is much better....

Ok, the last vid I posted was a far cry from a good vid...I was finally able to get a good one made using my new vid cam and editing software.

I chose the song to give a laid back feeling rather than a full tilt, kick ya in the crotch death metal rampage ....but it does pick up at the end.

Thanks guys...it took like 3 or 4 hours to get it edited and all the saving and uploading done on it...pain in the rear, but I think it came out nice.

The camera is a Sony miniDV handycam (DCR-HC96).

The song is Jack Johnson-Better Together.

Nice job. I've always wondered how a Jack Johnson song would fit a crawler video, worked good.

I need to find a different host for the vids...Photobucket converts it into an Adobe Flash movie and I lost alot of the resolution and the size isn't shown right, making it look worse than it is too.

Nicely done, love the POV's & shot angles, refreshing use of a tripod, awesome crawling action and great transitions in your editing job. Overall, it was just a pleasure to watch. I often lose interest in vids after 30-60 sec (damn attention span...) but I stuck with yours right thru to the mini-t stuff.

Incidentally, I've been thinking about an 18th scale truck...leaning towards the RC18t (oops...there's that attention span drifting again

Excellent job. Makes me want to get the camera & tripod out today.

It's all about angles with me...same for my photo's of 1:1 crawling A tripod is mandatory in my mind so you don't make the audience sick (and it's much easier to drive the rig if your not holding the cam )

The mini's are a fun little distraction. My Mini-T has a carbon fiber chassis and alot of the aluminum pieces. It's MUCH lighter than the stock car. I've got the Orion Baja motor in it too that makes it really rip, then I run it off of 7.2v rather than the stock 6v. I highly recommend a mini....they make you laugh when they crash

Yeah, they worked great. That was really why I went out that day...to crawl the new shock setup Video link added.

On another note...do they make those shocks in a small version? I know the 60's are pretty small...but I would like to put some on my Mini-T...and the bodys, even on the 60's, are to large to fit that car. Maybe something the sam length, but small diameter?
