Default Twisted Vs. The Hole at Green River

This is the first onboard vid I've shot. This is TwistedCreations taking on the dreaded Hole on course 2 at Green River.

I seriously got to get me one of those cameras'..Don't like the price much, but i like the different point of view it takes.

too bad he didn't post any other vids like that. you could see where i was running through water and trees Places that was barely big enough to fit a RC, let alone Jason following it

That was awesome! It looks like a real crawler until you see the water and the 40ft giants taking pictures.

Man, that really turned out great! I know you got a whole bunch more footage. Looking forward to seeing that too!

I'm definetly going to have to look into one. I have a few crappy 12v cameras laying around, might give those a shot.

I was thinking about getting something like this, which is wireless. I could rig up a battery pack for the camera and receiver and be completely wireless! Just hook the receiver to my camcorder.

Got a link to the camera you were using?

That has to be one of the coolest R/C vid clips I've ever seen!

I'm also curious what camera was used for this.

The camera is from http://www.helmetcamera.com/products.htm

I bought the 480 Xtreme kit.

guess he is talking about another camera being more crappier than yours... who ever knows what he is rambling about :-?

I will have one sometime soon. JIA, I like your setup, but would a wireless setup be better or would you lose quality?

An inexpensive wireless camera would loose quality. I was reading that page where he bought the camera, and the specs are pretty impressive. It has a Sony chip in it, so thats what gives it great quality.

Also, it has a shockproof mechanism that gives it a big advantage over a cheaper camera. If you noticed, the picture never jumped around even though the truck did. Thats pretty impressive. If you were to use a cheap camera, the picture would bounce all over the place.

Yup. I did a search for "2coolrc" on Google and found this demo video...

http://www.2coolrc.com/video/Psyco2.wmv

Not waterproof or nearly as durable as the helmetcamera kit.

The advantages to the 2coolrc kit are A) don't have to walk with the truck B) cost.

well the coolrc is not shock proof, i wont own one of those. Yes the camera is pricey, but it is shock resistant and waterproof and that pays itsself off right there. so i will have one here in a while( just cant tell the old lady yet ;) )

Jason, anyway you can make me the rest of footage that was shot with it or did ya delete it?

here is a pic highmark posted of my truck with the video camera on.. if ya look close, you can see where it is mounted and jason is holding the camera.

TIP- velcro and paint = paint ripped off
