I know that this is sort of short notice, but the SCRC Comp #4 is this weekend (Saturday) and you are all welcome on down. Busse Woods is the location, and it is MUCH closer than the Lockport location. We held Comp #3 there a few weeks ago, and it was really a great time. The location is VERY 2.2 friendly....not overgrown....it is very much a ROCK CRAWLING experience. I live near the Busse Location, and drove up to hte Jefferson location...it was about 85 miles and 1:45 in terms of time. Not a bad drive.

I'm game. Friday, Saturday or Monday is cool by me. Got the tuber and the AX-10 both running well (I think).

Going as a spectator this year. Last year went as a competitor.

Mostly going to mountain bike, drive scalers, and wheel my 1:1 a little on some easy trails.

Crap, I decided early this week to goto the Badger game, otherwise I'd love to hit Busse. Since that's not gonna happen, and I don't have any plans to head out of town, i'll be around Sunday, and Monday for a GTG.

I'm up for a GTG too. Lots of Harleys in town for the 105th. Most of them will be heading out on Monday so that may be the best day along the lake.

Bender Park could be a good option since I don't think anything Harley related is going on there.

I'm pretty sure that the parking lot at Bender, at the marina, is on Ryan Rd. just head east on Ryan Road, it makes a slight jog left at HWY 32, all the way to the lake.

So what time are we going to meet? I have never been to Bender, It looks like Ryan Rd dead ends at the entrance to the park. Is there just one parking lot? I get lost going to the mail box.

It has just the one parking lot. The easiest way to get there is take I94 to to Ryan Rd. Go east on Ryan road. Take Ryan to HWY 32 Turn Left onto HWY 32and go North to Old Ryan Rd. Turn Right onto Old Ryan ( The South Bound Bar is on the corner). Follow Ryan down to the park entrance. Monster there is a nice bike path in the park. Lets say we meet at noon?

I posted some on hobbyzip a while back. There are some challenging runs in the big rocks. This more suited for supers as most the rocks are 3' or bigger.

There ya go
