Default Afternoon Trail Truck GTG, Petrified Springs Park, Racine, Saturday, May 8

So, like the title says, a couple of us are planning to get together this upcoming Saturday afternoon for some trail truck action. Any other crawlers and scalers are welcome. We will be concentrating on the mountain bike trails...so not much in the way of "rock crawling".

If you're interested in meeting up with us, PM me and I'll get you my cell phone number.

As far as the time frame goes, we're thinking about 5pm APPROXIMATELY

I was just out there yesterday, but this weekend won't work. The dumped a bunch of rock on the North side of the bridge that dams the river going through, but other than that, still not much rock out there.

Looks like the weather is going to be on the cool side...30% chance of showers on and off through the morning hours, but mostly sunny all afternoon with highs nearing 50 degrees.

Looking forward to getting the scaler out in the real world for the first time.

Well, we haven't gotten the mostly sunny early afternoon like we were promised and the vote went to cancel todays outing. With all the rain we had, the hills leading down to the trails are most probably a little dangerous..especially for a gimpy guy with a broken foot.

So we'll have to set up another date.

Keep us posted, I know with MTB season starting my outdoor hobbie time is going to need some time management.
