That way if one shows up to a comp, and has already been approved there is no reason to question it's dimensions on site. Even if chassis where pre-approved we would still have to tech and question them at comps due to the competitive nature of us all. Where there is a competitor there will also (generally) be a creative mind tweaking and squeezing any last edge out, every once and a while on a late night in the shop we find the wrong side of the little marks on the ruler!!!!! |
