Default locking an x-factor tranny?

im converting my X to elecric and am wondering if there is an easy way to fully lock a stock X tranny? if i can lock it i wont need the reverse gear either. or is there another kind of tranny that will work and is fairly cheap?

The E maxx tranny is a popular tranny guys have used for electric conversions on an X Factor. They are fairly strong and cheap. They are also big and place the motor up high. There's been several conversions done here. Search this section and it should bring them up.

thanks for the info. i noticed theres provisions for 2 motors, will running two motors provide any extra power? im sorta an electic noob.:-(
