Default crawler factor!

ok hey im new here and am selling my nitro rustler for a x-factor and gonna make her a strick crawler , creeker , and hill climber. and want to know what you guys think of my plans.

first im gonna buy a used x-factor 1 and gonna lock the difs.
then gonna buy some jombo swampers.
and the damn adapters
mammoth 153mm shocks.
a all weather air filter cover
plasi dip and ballon both servos and reciver.
gonna lower the gears
and then get a cj8 bronco or rubicon body.

what do you guys think and please need suggestions.

sounds good but i would take the engine out and put an electric drive train in
its place like a e-maxx or a txt-1 motor and trans setup.

umm.. no. the reason im buying this is because of it being nitro. i hate electrucs. and wanted the x-factor for sound smell and power.

The X-factor is a great truck for what you described you wanted!

What you've listed so far sounds like a good start. Get the 12t cb and adapt a Savage 52t spur gear and get ready for monster torque!!! Also get a wheelie bar to save your exhaust tips from ripping off. This truck is a wheelie monster! Never seen mammoth shocks on an X but try it out and see if ya like it!

More specific advice can probably be found at XTM's forum on the X-factor. Their tips & threads section covers just about anything you could ever wanna know. Here all you'll get are ppl tellin ya to convert to electric! Now that might sound wierd coming from someone who has gone electric........but that's besides the point!

Nitro X-factors still rock in my book!
