Default Allright, update pics of Big Evil.

Here`s my nitro bashing / all around truck. Specs are in my signature. MAN, I can`t wait to find a friggin pullstart to get this thing running again. I have a wanted ad up for one . http://www.rccrawler.com/forum/showthread.php?t=21551

Let me know what you think.

Edit: Won`t be right without future plans.
I`m wanting to lock just the rear diff and see how much I like it, then the front.
The tires are probably going to be Losi LSTs on stock XF rims.
Steering servo will be changed out for a Mammoth one.
I`ll probably chop the bed off of the body and build a cage for the engine for my first tubing project and make it look like a good truggy or something.

I think I have a pull start and even a complete 24.7 engine somewhere. I don't need them anymore since I went electric... I'm thinking $40 shipped for the complete engine if I can find it. It has some surface rust but should run ok at the very least.

Maybe I can use it for spare parts. Does it have the clutch on it? And what condition is the pull start in?

And I`d like to say how I got the Revo shaft in there with the stock pinion yoke and tranny output. It`s not that hard for anybody with machining skills and a lathe, I just taped up the u joint to stop movement and machined both ends of the drive shaft down so they fit in there, and then I ran pins in to keep them in there. Held up great on the hammering that I gave it until I had to stop due to a busted shaft pin in the stock front . Then I broke the pullstart when I fixed the shaft and tried to start again . Hope this may help anybody that may need ideas.

Nuther update.

I just got done locking the rear diff today. I have to wonder, who the heck thought up the design on the XF spider gears? I cracked open the diff case and might as well should have been staring into the human brain . What did I do about it? I smeared JB weld all over this magnificent design .

Because they are so different from any other 1/8th scale diff

I sure hope you cleaned some of the grease out before you put the JB in there
