Default X-F 2 inverted motor idea.....

i have an idea for lowering the CG on an X-factor 2. keep in mind i don't own one so i'm working off pics that other people post.

my idea is to invert the motor so the heatsink is lower than the crankshaft. i've seen 2-strokes run at different angles (like in a nitro RC bike) and i think it'll work, you may have to start it with the truck upside down but once it's running the fuel shouldn't spill out the carb because of the suction from the piston.

can somebody tell me if this is possible? from the pics i've seen it looks as though all that would need to be done is:
1 - Cut a hole in the chassis
2 - reverse motor mounts
3 - re-work throttle and brake links

so, will this work or not? i could also be combined with the fron engine mod to create better results.

here's a drawing i did, pretty rough, but you get the idea:

any ideas, suggestions, comments?

cool idea but the heat-sink would hit the upper links(I just measured)
and the fuel tank would then be higher than the carb so the engine would be gravity fed, meaning the needle setting would be all screwed up no matter what you did, unless you found a way to mount the fuel tank under the chassis too...

if you look at airplane engines so of 'em have a remote carb so that you don't have to have your finger right next to the prop while tuning it...... I assume (I know I know assuming makes an ass out of you and me) that you could use one and have the carb be on top of the upside down engine (get it ?)as far as the chasssis goes the carb would/could stay in the same place.
does that make any sense?
