Exclamation X-factor2 Axle/tranny need help!

Hey, thanks for taking the time to read this.
Ok, yesterday I was wheeling up some hills, nothing intense or anything, when something really strange happened.
The truck was running great, but as soon as you gave it gas it would sort of bog out and just stall.
After checking it out i realized it wasnt the engine, but somehow, and this is going to sound weird :?
the front axle was turning the wheels forward, and the rear axle was turning the wheels backwards...
I dont have the reverse kit installed, so im not sure what the hell is going on, and at the time I hadnt even touched the axles. So it's not like i accidentally built the axle upside down or something dumb
I took apart the entire truck to clean it and put it back together.
I didnt touch the tranny, but took the axles apart and cleaned them, they are fine.

Any ideas? Time for a new tranny? I guess I'll have to take the trans. apart. Help a noob out, thanks.

Yep your center diff is shot. I had neer the same thing happen to the trans in my terra crusher before I converted it to a crawler, exept it pulled about 70% of the teeth off one of the gears so there was no rear drive in it. But ya a new center diff is the ticket.

ok, just got the trans apart, and I'm baffled.
I bought the truck used and, of course have no instructions.
I downloaded the lame manual online, which has no teardown help at all.
The teeth and most of the bearings look fine.
On the main shaft there are two gears one of which is a one-way bearing.
This bearing is in pretty rough shape and i can barely spin the gear.
Other than that I can't find anything wrong, however I don't have anything for reference.
Any help?
I can post pictures if someone needs to take a look.

You said you took the axles apart to clean them right?

When you put them back to gether did you pay any attention on which side you put the ring gear on? Sounds to me like you have your diffs on oposite sides.

X2^^...That and I would recomend replacing your 1 way bearing as you said it looks pretty rough just as a precaution.
