Default x factor tranny output

does anyone know the diameter on the output shaft on the tranny and on the dffs

the tranny output is 6 mm and the axles are 8 mm

will teh revo sliders fit the x factor pinions with grinidng or should i just get teh bft pinions

the reason people buy the bft pinions is because they have the cross-pin hole already drilled. The revos will fit on the stock one but you'll need to drill a hole through it

is the bft pinion a direct fit or do i need to do anything like a new bearing or any fabbing

Yes it is a direct fit. BUT, the bft pinion's shaft is longer so you'll need a 1/4" spacer before the revo/maxx yoke. I got a couple 1/8" nylon spacers at the hardware store and stacked em. This is important b/c the bearing will want to 'walk' out if you don't have something to make up for the extra space in there.

Also you'll need to reshim the ring/pinion gears so don't forget to do that when you have your axles apart.
