| Diff crown removal
I'm afraid to whack it to hard... so, How do you get the 'crown' gear apart from the drive cup. You know... the one inside the differential that the bevel gears ride on. Mines a bit chewed due to a burnt pinion gear. New ones are here but I don't know how to get them apart. Thanks,, in advance. |

30 'Thirty' lookers and no one has any idea as to how the diff gears can be separated. I'll have to look around and see if I'm in the right forum -- rccrawler.com, yup...so far so good... rccrawler Tech talk... hmm, batting 1000, X-Factor Twin Force forum. Yup... the map says "X" marks the spot. Oh well... trial and error have been known to work... at a price. |_|p here ya go... you boys need some coffee to help wake up. Thanks and keep on truckin Merv |

Diff cup in a vice and rock the gear? Maybe thread the screws into the diff cup and tap on them. Or if you can twist the gear opposite of the diff cup to loosen it's grip. Pulling the two apart at the same time?

After the four screws are removed, it should lift right off unless someone before you has CA'd it for some weird reason.
