Dude, don't be a D-bag. If you had posted this in the proper place, and been like hey everybody check out my rusty, you would have had no problems. I'm sure everyone that would have read it would have had a different tone even with your finger painted body. You could have said yea, I smeared it on there I thought it looked cool if you don't like it piss off, but no.... you had to be a pole smoker and not only lie about sh!t but also argue with people that obviously know much more about the hobby than you. I've been in the RC hobby for quite some time, planes, helli's, cars,etc..... when it comes to crawlers I know jack shit. That is why, like a lot of people, I am here to look, listen and learn. Its ok to not know stuff, ask questions, listen to people, try things out thats how every body learns. Its really hard to learn from other people when you start acting like that, people tend to not want anything to do with you when you cross into the realm of douchebaggery (ie. lying and making snide comments because you can't take criticism, that oh by the way you opened yourself up to.)

Its not the fact that its a rusty I had one, I'm sure a lot of other people here have/had one too. I loved mine it was a blast, as I'm sure you and many others would agree its a damn fun basher. You want to show it off thats cool man, rock that sh!t!! Like I said, stay away from the afore mentioned douchebaggery and its cool man, cross that line and you will find it hard to find people who will talk to you and help you out.

with the imex swamp dawgs that i have on it and the lipo 7 cell bat that i have its really good in the mud plus i have the biggest suspension possible that i could find so its pretty good in the mud and on the rocks and also on the road and its also fast

And just to add one more thing.....How did you get the body so "Muddy" yet there is nothing on the motor, A-Arms, tires, tranny, inner rim, or roof rack? Do tell......:roll: And you say you "Added" the biggest suspension you could find to put on it.......THAT'S STOCK SHOCKS ON IT!!!!!! And for the love of GOD please show us this 7 cell Lipo you speak of:shock::roll::lol::lol:

THATS BECAUSE I TOOK EVERYTING APART AND CLEANED IT I DO IT AFTER EVERY RUN BUT LEAVE THE BODY DIRTY

Wow, a dirty stock Traxxas Rustler... I've seen a stock Rustler before, but one with a dirty lid, that's something to talk about, and take pictures of, and post on a website for crawlers.
Not to mention the really cool:roll: rack on top. Good choice for a stadium truck.

I think it'd be really interesting for you to show us this "7 cell lipo" battery you speak of. My guess is that it's a run-of-the-mill 7 cell sub c nihm pack. And this "the biggest suspension possible that i could find", I've/we've got to see this...

Kid, you need to calm down;-)
You asked for people's opinions on your Rustler. This isn't the Traxxas forum.... You're gonna get opinions you wont like. This is a rock crawler forum, not a go-fast truck forum. Most of these guys, including myself, have go fast rigs to play with when we get tired of rock crawling.... Most of us have probably owned a Rustler at one point. We know what the Rustler is capable of and what it isn't capable of. Rock crawling is not one of the things it's capable of.
Here's a couple pieces of advice....
1) You're ruining your credibility making claims about your truck and what it can do/has done, when we already know what those types of trucks can do. I've been into RC for almost 20 years now, and I'm sure that's common for the others that have posted in your thread. You've been into RC for what.... maybe 2 years? Experience counts....
2) You should really think about apologizing to those that you may have pissed off or offended. One day, you may be building a crawler and run into a problem that one of these guys might have the answer to. Chances are they'll remember this thread and pass you by..... Think about it"thumbsup"

My Rustler won't crawl, so I turn it on it's side and fly it around like a heli.
I can reach, like, 300 feet high or something.

It's powered by a bunch of OS .21's that I welded together to make a V12.


I would take pics, but i'm in Alaska and there is no light here to see.

Will the stock xl5 hold up to the 7 cell lipo? The traxxas website says it will handel up to an 8 cell battery, but gave it at no more than 9.6 volts. Im prety sure that even a 3 cell lipo runs around the 11 volt mark... Just askin, would hate to see a good running truck burn up and become a sittin truck...

I do like the rustler tho, been thinkin of gettin one to play with my slash and brushless pede...
