Update!! Update!!

OK guys, as I stated earlier I changed the shocks to a full sprung configuration.. However, I went a little bit different route, I wanted to regain some of the articulation I once had in my Losi 4" crawler shocks. But this chassis would be too sky high with those shocks so I had to find a better solution. I knew Losi had different length shocks but you had to build your setup via a la carte!! Very expensive option, but I knew it would be well worth it!! Well, as luck would have it Flyin Hawiian decided to part out his Axial comp rig, since he was so committed to his berg. He just happened to have a nice set of Losi .6's he built. I jumped on them with a trade for my building services. After checking them out thouroughly for leaks ect.. I threw them on my Losi shock tester to find the softest pair of springs to install up front. And my belly clearance is still about where I like it at 2 7/8"! Man!! what a difference! If you ever have a dilema on shocks, I say go Losi ALWAYS! The spring choices are fantastic and even the .6's are the smoothest shocks I have ever used!! I scored a 1st place at our latest point series competition and I give credit to this new setup!!(although I did make a few killer moves!! lol) Thats 2 comps out of four so far and top 5 finishes in all comps this season so far!! The TK-twister is working very well!!

SWEEP all three courses!! on comp #6

SARCCA's 08-09 Winter Point Series Comp #6 Was a SWEEP!!

I mean this rig worked VERY well!!

Course #1 was -4 points
Course #2 was 14 point with a CVD Repair
Course #3 was 2 Points

I had a great run going on course 2 when while digging to set up for gate 3 the drivers side fornt Axial CVD popped a damned pin!! Well I figured what the hell I will progress as far as I can so just in case I cant get back on course to finish at least I got as far as I could so Progressed gates 4, 5 and 6 with three wheel power!! at that point I had no gate penalties and no reverses in fact a perfect run up to that point. But when I got back on course thens got a bit sketchy and I hit a gate and a roll over I think but I finished course 2 with a 14. Not too bad considering I had to take a repair to complete.

If there are any doubts about the TK-twister Large T-bone, I have to tell you, My setup works very well!! And to win all three course was fun!! I think the spread between 1st and 2nd in the Pro Comp Points was something 16 points I think!!

Thats 3 First Places out of 6 Point Series Competitions!! And All top 5 Finishes in the Pro Comp Class

I am using NTT Reaches #5 in the front and #8 in the rear. I am using a larger than normal diameter foams to acheive the "Full Stuff" and in the fronts I have added approx a 3/8" wide section of Proline Stock foam for additional sidewall support. The tire and foam combo are the best combo I have found so far. Great sidehilling yet excellent traction on all surfaces.

Thank you for the compliments guys!! This rig is working out very well!! I think I have it set up where I like it, no plans to change, except maybe some worm drive axles in the furture!!

I took a Proline foam and vertically a 3/8" thick slice(doughnut) form the outside edge and installed it on the outside edge of the inside of the tire. No Pics, maybe next time I change the tires I will get some for you!!"thumbsup"

I looked on the tcs website and I was wondering if you used the hybrid #5 or 8????, or what # 5 & 8?
