Losi 1/10th Roller

What have you found to be a good foam setup in the comp claws? Have a set here to get ready while waiting for the truck to show up.

Had a stellar performance this past weekend running the Comp Crawler at our local comp.
It was fixed:-P
Here's what I have do far.

Front: 1-1/2 Losi memory foam with a total weight wheel and all 12oz.

Rear: Grey Losi foam full with nothing cut out with a total weight of 8oz.
It will never work8)

All of Rubba's driving is done with trick photography and mirrors. It is strictly a smoke show, slight of hand:lol::lol: It's not the driving, it's the rig:-P

Had a feeling this was coming, especially after we got to see Jakes nice new shiny box of joy. Looks like its time to start an axial build as well................

Just saw Rubbaneck run this thing at our local comp yesterday. I have to admit that I thought this rig has been over-hyped. However, after seeing it pull ridiculous lines with ease (Jay's driving skills are also key), this thing is a force straight out of the box! He pulled off a 1st place finish among 31 drivers including ton of MOA's and built shaftys with highly skilled drivers. I couldn't believe how this thing seems to hover over the rocks. Anyway, this thread already has 8 million posts so I thought I might as well add my $0.02.:-P

It all comes down to a good driver that knows his rig! If you do not know your rig, this one does not come with driving skills. The people that have been winning, will still be winning because of PRACTICE. IMHO, MOA or shafty does not matter!

WHAT !!!!!! :shock::shock::shock::shock:

Screw it I am just going to keep the AX10 then, and here I thought I could buy skill :lol:

I try and get out driving at least 3 times a week.... I still suck, but it is fun... Plus I am not home listening to the wife bitch at me.

How long before we have a definitive shipping date?

Jay can obviously pull off a win with any rig... but the Losi has some unique characteristics that make it better than any other "out of the box" rig. The rear DIG, V-shaped skid, spool gears, super narrow triangulation of the lowers etc... were obviously very well thought out. Unlike another "out of the box" rig (cough.. cough... RockForce... cough... cough) that came out recently.

yea a lot of thinkin went into the LOSI

pretty cool how they've gone about it, focusing more on the ability and quality of the rig than rushing to get it on shelves.

every time we see jay i try and look at his rig some, and then mimic the setup on my AX10.

its just strait up crawler tech. nothing about the losi seems to need replacement, upgrades, only a lil fine tuning.

for me, i just want someone to get one and take a tape measure to it. link points, lengths etc.

then i can bite their style.

I am going with May 31. That way if it ships early I will be pleasantly surprised;-)"thumbsup"
