Losi 1/10th Roller

Yes, you can shift on the fly.....nothing is locking when in DIG, just disconnecting the front or the rear.

Thats definitely a plus in my book. Looks like I need to get looking for a place to pre-order at. I just hope someone comes out with a metric screw conversion kit and it would be perfect. :)

Just to clarify, there was an announcement of Mid May, but the heat treat on the worms took a little longer than expected. Again, pending no shipping issues (which I do not expect, "knock on wood"), the Comp Crawler is shipping at the end of May.
Rich

Something Venom should have done before releasing their truck. Its much better to wait a little for a new truck than get a new truck have it break in literally 1 minute and then wait weeks for replacement part that aren't even out yet. Thanks Losi for makin sure we get a quality product the first time"thumbsup"

I say we start a release date poll. Just for kicks and giggles. I'm thinking released May 26th in my hands May 27th:?:

For the dig servo, will any "mini", or "micro" servo work. Jake or Rich can you give dimensions of the mounting area so we can weigh our options on the dig servo? There are a wide variety of sizes of micro servos available, with some longer and taller than others. Thanks for the help.

I know I ordered mine a little late so I emailed Horizon Hobby and got a reply that mine is coming on the second shipment in mid June<?xml:namespace prefix = v ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:vml" /><v:shapetype id=_x0000_t75 stroked="f" filled="f" path="m@4@5l@4@11@9@11@9@5xe" o:preferrelative="t" o:spt="75" coordsize="21600,21600"> :-(<v:stroke joinstyle="miter"></v:stroke><v:formulas><v:f eqn="if lineDrawn pixelLineWidth 0"></v:f><v:f eqn="sum @0 1 0"></v:f><v:f eqn="sum 0 0 @1"></v:f><v:f eqn="prod @2 1 2"></v:f><v:f eqn="prod @3 21600 pixelWidth"></v:f><v:f eqn="prod @3 21600 pixelHeight"></v:f><v:f eqn="sum @0 0 1"></v:f><v:f eqn="prod @6 1 2"></v:f><v:f eqn="prod @7 21600 pixelWidth"></v:f><v:f eqn="sum @8 21600 0"></v:f><v:f eqn="prod @7 21600 pixelHeight"></v:f><v:f eqn="sum @10 21600 0"></v:f></v:formulas><v:path o:connecttype="rect" gradientshapeok="t" o:extrusionok="f"></v:path><?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /><o:lock aspectratio="t" v:ext="edit"></o:lock></v:shapetype>. Ditto on that. I felt the same way when I was searching for a rig to buy. I also decided to pre-order the Losi.

Then, something amazing happened. My wife let me buy the Creeper anyways! Two new rigs in a matter of only months! :-P I love my wife...

Weeks for parts? and you think losi will flood all the lhs with parts the same time the crawler hits the shelfs?..lol

Had my creeper for a tad over a month now and had one stub axel break the first week and orderd parts from tower and had them in 3 days.
Nothing since then has broke, even been running the remote rear diff lock the whole time and never have had an issue with this rig.

I to pre-orderd a losi, but did not want to just sit around and talk about how great something may be while I waited the remaing 3 months for it's possible release date, I wanted to crawl!

Hope it is as good as the team version that has been shown off to the public.

there is no difference in the team version. i got to drive one on saturday, and must say that they will definately be worth the wait ;)

You've seen the final production version being released to the public?

Over 18 years in r/c and I've seen how the the team versions are always steps above the normal released versions.
That is why they have the "factory team" kits or "factory team parts" or "adam drake kit" ect..ect..being released at a later date and are sold at a higher cost then the normal released production kits that come out first.

Thats just smart business and is why they all do it. Keeps intial production costs down and profit margins up!

Like I've said before, I have one pre-orderd and hope the final production run that is released is up to the hype and parts support will follow quickly."thumbsup"

It comes with top parts from the start a nice tvp chassis "dig" the losi 4" crawler shocks everyone like and it been said earlier in this thread the team drivers are drive the rigs with the same parts that will come in the kit, only things changed are the personal things like tires foams springs shock oil etc."thumbsup"

That would be great! and I have to agree on the shocks, have them in the creeper ;-)

Ive thought about getting a losi crawler but I have gotten to used to the axial axles and I know they are reliable and rebuilding them is a breeze now takes 5-8 minutes depend whats wrong:ror:

This is correct... The version I've been driving and winning with is pretty much what you will have right out of the box. Just add your electronics, tune the shocks/oil to your driving style, and go kick some butt 8)

Well for what it's worth, Jake, Jay, Brian and myself have been running bone stock crawlers. I'm still running it with the stock settings, while the other guys have tuned on them (oil springs etc). Sure as time progresses and we learn more about the Comp Crawler, our team guys will have parts to test that you may not be able to get initially but if it works, we have no reason to not produce them or make running changes. It's just part of the evolution of a product. I'm also feeling confident about the durability, but we'll never know for sure until they are out there. We can try to think of everything but we all know it never happens 100%.
As for replacement parts, they are shipping with the kit and will be in stock, it's just up to your local shop and what they decide to carry.
