Proffit's Cruisers Big Tex done 2.2

There is only 1 thing i can say is HOLY HELL that thing is wicked."thumbsup"I rely need to start doing some drawing so i can get my dads mate to weld me up a frame for when i get a fj40.

Got my RC4WD Transfercase in today and first have to say WOW. Their machine work on this thing is incredible and the smoothness of the gears is just great.
Just have to build my belly then its off to getting cleaned up ...... finally "thumbsup"
 
gotten some progress done on her ......

the finish on this thing is incredible and the gears inside feel flawless. no doubt this should hold up to some serious abuse.

so with some thinking, an old HiLift driveshaft, some Delrin and left over bearings we come up with its own carrier bearing

lets start with the seats. needed a way to remove the seats easily but be sure they stayed in place when the rough came calling.

took our normal cell phone seat apart

well my original idea of the GD600 hooked to the RC4WD transfer case didnt work out to well. simply not enough reduction in the combo :-(

got hooked up with killjoyken in the forsale area and got a great R2 w/disconnect tranny ;-) although the digs not gonna be connected atleast its there if i decide later.
