Sweet build. I like idea of putting a motor inside a model engine. Now figure
out a way to mount it with rubber grommets so it'll have a little twist when you gun it!:shock::shock:

well got some more done to the Cruiser in between some other things.

front shock mounts

front axle link and shock mounts

rear with link mounts and leafs in place (went with 1/4'' aluminum rod tapped for 4mm threads on the rig)

front shocks and axle mounted, 90mm Yeah Racing shocks with 2 RC10 Buggy springs for dual rates.

rear upper shock mounts

little shot with motor and GD600 in place

rear axle with shocks mounted

front compressed

and a little benchtop flexing

now its the 'wait for the mail man' fun :lol:

Got my RC4WD Transfercase in today and first have to say WOW. Their machine work on this thing is incredible and the smoothness of the gears is just great.
Just have to build my belly then its off to getting cleaned up ...... finally "thumbsup"

gotten some progress done on her ......

the finish on this thing is incredible and the gears inside feel flawless. no doubt this should hold up to some serious abuse.

and for size comparison

so we get the belly sides done and mount the t-case

and notice we're looking at a 9'' front drive shaft :shock: ....

so with some thinking, an old HiLift driveshaft, some Delrin and left over bearings we come up with its own carrier bearing

after getting my styrene sheets from Nick Rummy "thumbsup" I get to start on the fun stuff ..........

firewall

receiver box/fuel cell

Interior/dash board

plenty of room to slide a stick pack/lypo in under the seats

just a small update but more to come along .......

Nope didnt forget about this one :ror:

lets start with the seats. needed a way to remove the seats easily but be sure they stayed in place when the rough came calling.

took our normal cell phone seat apart

and made some seat racks

took the interior and made the holders for them

and slid the seats into place

those aint going any where lol.

well my original idea of the GD600 hooked to the RC4WD transfer case didnt work out to well. simply not enough reduction in the combo :-(

got hooked up with killjoyken in the forsale area and got a great R2 w/disconnect tranny ;-) although the digs not gonna be connected atleast its there if i decide later.

and the belly (gonna work this area later so i dont belly the edge out)
