wheelbase measures in at just a hair over 10". MRC kit arrived today. axles are a tad narrow for this but will look stock if left as is. 5mm wideners would be perfect.
LOL, I think he just has an extra bowl of skill for breakfast every morning.Holy Jebus dude!!! Slow down!!! hahaha.... "No Custom Title" should say, "Perfectionist Styrene Fabricating King!!" LOL Looks good man "thumbsup"
oh thats funny!I think he just has an extra bowl of skill for breakfast every morning.
I agree, they need some wideners or deeper offset wheels. That's a great build"thumbsup""thumbsup""thumbsup"
But I think the Axles are too narrow.
thanks. its been a challenge with the lexan, and to be honest I'm not completely pleased but can't resist the Classic, lol...Wow! that looks just amazing, talk about bringing life into a lexan body! Cant wait for more...

I also agree. they are way too narrow. First I will try narrower tires to see if that makes it look better, more stock looking perhaps but I also have some wheels coming that have more offset for this reason (rc4wd steelies). If those arent enough offset I'll try the 1.7 brat 'steelies' I have since they have a significant offset. I'm going to try and avoid a full widener though. There are hexes that add 3mm or so and I might try those. The wideners add an inch, which I think is too much. I do want the tires inside the body on this one.I agree, they need some wideners or deeper offset wheels.
I'm just going to make a copy of your dads, lol...its so awesome.Dirt Grabbers would be very scale under this body.

Yes...very cool pics indeed.
i can only speak about the wires, those are risers.
they pick up low limbs and move them away from the windshield.
...and yes.The reason they paint the hoods flat black is to cut down the sun glare.
He doesn't like the look of the whole hood being black, an even that little bit helps a lot with the glare. It also gives the hood a little more dimension. Can I ask you, why is the hood painted black in the center?
haha, thats very nice of you to say...but not really in that league. I just have a bunch of trucks, I glue some styrene together and I make some videos...there are a bunch of guys here that are well above me in the skills part. its not that hard to do really. anyone can do it with a little practice.damb dude ur like a rc god:shock:
