Honest.....ya, that's what it was:wink: It's clear you don't understand the reason people are upset, it's not because it's on the west coast, it's because people planned on a certain time and place, and now don't have enough time to change vacation plans with their work, and some can't afford the extra cost with such short notice.

Maybe you should take the advice in your signature!

Tanis, i dont care if their from the east, west, midwest whatever, its a hobby! Its grown men and women playing with toy trucks! When people start acting like this and bashing the people that bust their asses trying to put together something that is supposed to be fun, it just pisses me off!

But all the "cool guys" with big post counts can say what they want and it doesnt matter, then someone who doesnt post everyday says something they dont like they take down their post? what a JOKE!!!

I was able to qulify throu my local club that did't start its season till feb, i was laid off from work in jan. i did every thing i could to make it to all 4 of the comps, 3 of were over 3hrs away. plus 2 of the sercrc comps, i still went to omaha for the 2.2 challange, only to have my truck break, had 15 min to get it fixed before the last coarse closed. as i type this i still don't have a job so I will not be going to this event, it is not worth the $ for me.

And this is exactly why i dont post! I really enjoy the tech stuff and event coverage. But sometimes enough is enough! Im not here to piss people off, anyone who knows me would tell you that. And i understand people need to vent, maybe I just take things wrong but if people are going to "quit the sport" because of this, it just seems so ridiculous.

And for people to take shots at me is fine... just be ready to take shots back. Oh yea I forgot, my posts get deleted!

Try having your family get up 2-3 times a month at 3 in the morn. to go to comps and then travel to every big comp you can for a year and spend thousands of dollars to get a invite just to find out everything has changed and it was all for nothing.

I DO understand that.... IT SUCKS!!! But that was already posted and YOU did not get it the first time, oh wait.... maybe that was in my post that got deleted. Sorry.

My son and I do the same thing, maybe not as far as you but i do understand putting alot into competing. I truelly feel bad that after all of that you arent going to make it, but are you going to quit the sport? That was what started all of this, I think if someone is going to quit because of one event being changed they maybe dont have the desire or drive and need to find something else to do.

You are about a dumb a$$ yes it is one big comp but it is the fact that it is the comp that so many people worked for all year to get a spot to. Why the hell would I want to stay involved in something that the rules do not get released untill half the season is over and they think it is fine to expect people to be ok with having to make a 2000 mile trip on a few weeks notice.
I feel I have nothing else to prove in this sport I have won a national title.several big events and always come in the top 5 or 6 at every big 2.2 comp I have attended.

I guess i was wrong... you ARE the kind of person i was talking about. They should have just cancelled it, that would have been better.

Think about it, if RCC couldnt get it together what is the other options? Dumb a$$? your cool!!!!
 
Joe i am truley sorry you will not be attending this will be the first time ever that i will get to see the supers run. and as i have posted before i wanted to see the best the sport has to offer in all classes
