Like Nova's Ark said, I like to keep things secret that are huge advantages on my crawler but I said I'd test them for him and give input so here it is. If you want to get the most out of your tires RUN THESE FOAMS!

I got some good run time today on my main practice rocks and I am 100% impressed with these foams in my Panther Leopard tires! You will not regret getting them! The outer layer conforms very well but the stiffer inner gives great support.

I run Panther Leopards, about a 6.5 lbs rig, Mayhem UCW front with the 5/8" ring on the front and no extra weight, derlin rear wheels with no ring or weight.

Just got mine installed the other day in a set of Panther Leopards. I've not gotten a chance to get on the rocks with it yet, but should be able to today. All I can say about them right now is that they feel great mounted up!! I am actually really excited about testing these bad boys out "thumbsup"

As soon as I get my tire glued back up I should be able to give these foams a good testing. The leopards wear fast! Especially when burning them on the same friggin rock for about 15 minutes.

I plan on hitting a few local spots with your foams so I can get them in every situation that I possibly can. That outer foam is soft! Do you think it's too soft to run a full foam like that in a tire that has a strong sidewall with inner webbing? They could possibly replace memory foams, that foam is so soft. The inner reminds me alot of the f400. Me likey!!!

Well, finally got to get out on the rocks with these foams mounted up in the Leopards yesterday. Running a berg with VP rims, 6 slugs per up front, 3 ea in the rears. The leopards have 3 runs on them now, and they are just getting broken in good. Now on to the good stuff, the foams.... I ran a lot of the same lines that I had with cougars and F400's. For the record, it's going to be hard for me to fully distinguish the differences since I've changed both tires and foams, but these sob's just flat out work!!!! The outer layer of the foams allows the tires to get a nice 'mold' over lips, points in the rock, etc. While climbing a ledge about the height of my rig standing upright, I got these foams to wad up from traction. The didn't wad up so that it proved useless, but they did just enough so that I could kick it into 4wheel drive and shoot right up the ledge. Perfect amount of wadding imo. Now, on to sidehilling.. The stiffer second layer really keeps you from buckling tires over like a memory foam will (but with some of the 'give' in the foams like a mem foam due to the softer outer layer). They held most of the lines that I took on a side hill, they did try to push through a couple of spots while turning uphill, but I think that was just more lay of the land kind of thing than the foams not doing their job. Steep uphills are really predictable also. Rear tires won't buckle under on you throwing you over backwards while at the same time, they have just enough soft layer to keep you from bouncing. I'm a firm believer in the 2 stage foam now.. Soft enough on the outside to give you the conformity you need, yet stiff enough through most of the inside to provide the stability also. Hope that helps any of the curious minds!! "thumbsup" I'll probably be ordering another set before too long to throw in a my other VP rims with less weight in them so I can have just a quick change setup for different type rocks. Great product Nova, I'm extremely pleased with them. Pour yourself a cold one for a job well done man "thumbsup"

How about running the 1.9:s in a set of rok lox that are 4.5" in height? Would it be possible to get a taller 1.9 of these?

You can try them at 4 1/4 if you like. You will end up with a small air gap between the tire and foam. It will only be an 1/8 or less gap though. It might be an advantage because it will keep the outside soft while the inside remains firm.

I am going to work on more foam sizes next week. The biggest problem with 1.9 is getting the sizing right, and then the foam compounds. I made the 4 1/4 because I needed them for my Flat Iron's on my scale truck and 1.9 Cougars on my Losi MRC.

I am going to make some smaller 1.9 foams for my 1.9 Cobras and 1.9 Chisels and have them sent out for testing next week. I want to offer some options in all the foam sizing I offer, but it takes time and testing to get there. I will look into the 1.9 rok lox next week as well. Ok i see, i dont think i would like that lil gap between the tire and foam, let me know if you make a taller 1.9 foam and im all in! "thumbsup" Thx!
