jeeper_05's CDW "Chump" Bully Build

Well, I got her all wired up, and I forgot one of my Holmes motors sticks, so now I play the waiting game...Pics will follow once I get the motors...

Are your upper links shifting at the Axle Mount? I had mine like your fronts, but changed it back. The bevel on the Bullys Upper Link mount needs to be removed or the Spacers used need to have a concave shape to the to sit flush on the mount. If not it will shift on you.

Don't seem to be shifting so far, only ran it around the garage on some inte-Crap motors though. The delrin spacers are beveled to hug the link mount, need to make two more to get rid of the TLT mounts...

Not related to this thread, but my sportsman wheels came in today along with the colred ring, was playing around with taking pics and thought this one turned out pretty cool...I will be starting a sportsman build here REAL soon...

Ok I think I am convinced that I may just need to buy a set of these axles and build a truck. Yours is awesome. Thanks for the info and buildup pics. I know that takes allot of time to do and post.

Builds are very time consuming when you add the camera, I probobly could have had this built in a night or two, but the camera takes time, along with uploading and writing...glad you could enjoy it...

I know nothing....:)

hehehehehehehehehe...

Curious to see how this works compared to your "stick" Bully. You won't have 5 inches of ground clearance anymore. :-P:-P
Your build threads are so professional looking, are you for hire?

Thanks Dave!!! I try to do as clean and detailed of a build as possible.

The stick did have some great advantages with clearance for sure, but there were some cons with it as well, high cog, couldn't suck the suspension down with the dig on a climb, etc.

I think I will really like how this car performs :) Friday will tell.

Got a short video tonight, always like to try and climb the stairs out on the front porch with all my new trucks, I can usually make it up using the wall, stairs always seem tough because they are so close together. This truck performed VERY well...

Sorry for the poor video quality, it was at night (obviously), I love how this truck sucks down so much when you dig, and I cannot get over how sick this punk dig is...

All the components of this truck seem to work very well together so far...Again, testing it on the rocks Friday after work...

Hello,

looks like a running system, very well running "thumbsup"

BTW i'm little bit snoopy about your gear cases

Greetings Frank

Thanks Doc!!! She does run well... The gear cases are from the batch of the first bully axles made, they are machined, therefore lighter weight, rather than the cast V2 axles...

What rims are you running on your scx10 in the front they look sweet! "thumbsup"

(The one with no body and black rims)

They are VP Little Harry beadlocks...only the best :)

Great build thread! Fantastic camera shots. How do you like the chassis? Seems to be enough room for the electronics with both plates. Great Job!

Sweet video man...Looks like the rig is working pretty well.."thumbsup"

It is working VERY well, took it out for some testing this evening after work, she sticks to the rocks...only thing I dont like, is these crappy integy motors create alot of stall, and need to work on some gearing...

I love the chassis, CDW always does top notch work...there is PLENTY of room for electronics in there, yet still a somewhat small light chassis...
