jeeper_05's CDW "Chump" Bully Build

It is working VERY well, took it out for some testing this evening after work, she sticks to the rocks...only thing I dont like, is these crappy integy motors create alot of stall, and need to work on some geariing..

Glad to here it is working well for you..

I never could get the stall out of mine no metter what gearing I used till I got rid of the integy's..

Thanks Doc!!! She does run well... The gear cases are from the batch of the first bully axles made, they are machined, therefore lighter weight, rather than the cast V2 axles...

They are VP Little Harry beadlocks...only the best :)

Are they 1.9?

im running the integy 35s and im not having any problems at all with stock gearing. just upgrade to larger rear motor wires and it fixes alot of the problem

I have 10 guage, is that big enough...lol:mrgreen:, it doesn't seem to make a difference, I used to run dual HHH's and loved them with all the smoothness, but one is in my SWX now, and the other sticks... the integy motors just dont get it. You get what you pay for..."thumbsup"

How's it sticking, bent, lose magnet, or what?

Your build thread is captivating! Keep coming back to borrow ideas from excellent photos and feedback. That painted body is a work of ART!!! Whole build is fantastic. Thanks!

Well, I haven't updated for a while...

Got me another Proline CP body, and rattle canned it, couldnt stand to tear up the pretty lid...

Picked up a pair of 35t's from Tanis

Got a tiny receiver, cant remember the number lol...

Been pretty busy lately, havent had much time to play with it, but I wil get some pics up tomorrow night of its current state, and I have a comp this Sunday, so we will see how she does :)

I'm gonna bring my "C" game....hahahahaha, not gonna be the same without you :( How was highrocks?
It was dry for a change....the snow rig didn't comp very well with the Redrocks :ror: and I broke the front upper linkmount on the bastard.....welded in some washers on this one like I did on the last one and it's running again"thumbsup"

rig loogs good scott.
hopefully ill have some bully axles by the first of the year.

i think i saw a post you used 450 hubs front, 350 hubs rear?

-scot

Thanks Scot! You will like them ;)

That is correct, 350 rear, but it is 475 front :)

Started with 600 rear 725 up front, and it was a little wide for my liking...

Well, here are the updates, I plan on milling out the skidplate like YotaChump did, trying to get the battery just a little lower as well as the electronics, and possibly bending my sideplates as well... Also, still need to build a heavier drag link...

Spraybomb body, my sticker guy made me some reverse decals for masking, all is paint except for the mini rcc sticker, the rc4wd sticker, grill and headlights...

Been getting questions of how much steering I get compared to Axials, well, my axial has RC4WD XVD, and lots of steering, the Bully, well, pictures do the talking...

The longer rodends are all jato rod ends, the shirt two rodends are revo rodends. I had to use the shorter two to stay under the wheelbase rules.
