Black Label Crawlers "Chopper" MOA LCC Build!

Ok so my OCD got the best of me and I broke the rig down again and fixed some things that was bugging me.

First thing I did was change all fastners to metric from the garbage standard crap..And rebuilt my shocks..

While in the mix of that,I decided I didn't like my skidplate how it was not having nuts on the fastners and realying on threads in the delrin..So I fabbed up another skidplate.."thumbsup"..Changed the angles on my lower links for the better I do believe..Seems to flex much more smoothly now.

Bolted everything back up into a roller after all that...

Here's some flex shots..Articulation is right about where I want it now..I have 5" of flex before it will lift any certain tire.

Carries the wheels nicely!!

He's the other mandatory shot.....Talk about some serious sidehilling..That's 3lbs of urethane on the sideplate.....No tippy tippy..

Made up some different body mounts I liked a little better..Then mounted the body back up..Here's a couple pics..

I am a lot happier with everything now.I got the suspension acting the way I want it to and I got rid of all the stuff that was bugging me out..8)

"thumbsup"I want that steering link and I may need one of the chassis after you test it. does BLC have a web site?

Well some people was asking how much my rig weighed..Well here is a picture of that..The weight is 4lb 5.3oz with my 3s lipo and and extra 4oz of lead weight I had to kinda compensate for not having moa kit, motors or esc in it right now..I also have 5oz in each front wheel, and 3 oz in each rear wheel. So she's pretty light weight..

, How do you really feel :ror:. Now you need some 48 pitch moa gears "thumbsup" What motors are ya gonna run?

Alot better for real..All my tools are metric..8)..Gears will be here very shortly....I'm gonna run some 30t Holmes Handwounds till I get some pullers..But I think with the new gearing 30t's are gonna rip pretty damn good..

Yeah, those should work great. I run the cobalt 500 pullers and they are a great motor and are a little lighter.

Man the sexiest crawler i have ever seen!!!! What wheels are those? and when is you website going to be up so i can order that chassis?

Looking great!!! "thumbsup"

Thanks man.."thumbsup"

I got my electronics tray fabbed up today, while I was bored..Locates my 3s pack in the belly a bit more over the front for weight bias.I just velcroed it to the bottom of the tray.I made this tray bigger so it will fit the esc, punk dig and receiver all as low as possible in the chassis..

Thanks Ashton.."thumbsup"

Yah I will get some video up as soon as I get it going..Should be soon if all goes as planned.

I tell you what, you can tell a huge difference for sure in the leopards by cutting the side lugs off and siping them..I highly recommend it..

Rear is clocked up a bit to keep the motor above the lower links..

In this picture you can see how I raised the servo mount in the front to work with my OTA steering link..About 3/32" total..
