Fat Girl 2.2 scale rock bouncer

Like Tim Cameron, the Fat Girl has found a new home, and I'm moving on to another Coleworx buggy build

Can't wait to see what you come up with next Chris, I'm looking forward to seeing another MFF take on a Coleworx design.

Nice job, that thing looks cool as hell. You should build and sell those. I'm in.

Thanks, but I decided after a while that this was a one-off frame/build, so no more Fat Girl frames unless someone else builds one.

Yeah, I love all the Coleworx rigs. Something about big oversized tires, insane power, and all the curves in the frames just does it for me. It's one of those things, you either love it or hate it, and I love it!

wow I glad to see them tires are getting used. Is that open spot where this seat is going.

I think you need to build me one of these:twisted:

So I decided finally to build this up as a scale rock racer. So far, I've got the frame done and all the parts scattered around :D

Anyways, one of the big stumbling blocks I'm running in to is how to do the hood. On the 1:1 it kind of looks like a narrowed Jeep hood, like the Rubicon or Liberty. However, the HPI Rubicon hood does not have the same roundedness around the headlights. Looking for suggestions here.

All i can think of is try a bug body from proline maybe?

I WANT ONE!"thumbsup" price and availability please:mrgreen: i don't think this one will hold up to a 572 though8)

Not the tires you sold me. These were a set I had from a long time ago. The tires you sold me are going on a different project :D!

This will be the only Fat Girl I build. Other Coleworx buggies are in always in the plans "thumbsup"

yea i read where it was a one-off rig"thumbsup" (hince the big smilie!)
to own one of these rigs would be nice though:mrgreen:("hint hint")

New owner sent me a few pics of a couple mods he did to the Fat Girl so far. New tires modded just like the OG 1:1 build (every other lug removed), RC4WD 110mm scale shocks. I noticed he kept the dust/dirt left on the axles so far :D
