Share you CKRC stories here...good or bad.

I have bought a few items from them, Just got a Lipo Charger and my 4PL from them the other day. The Charger was out of stock when I ordered, they called said they would be getting more in a couple days, 2 days later got my shipping notification. Also priced matched the 4PL to Rpps price. I would order from them again.

I've ordered from them twice, first order was a little under $500 for my XR10 Kit, 7950 servo, X2 Pairs of Rovers, & servo horn. Second order was around $40 for Axial machined links, pinion gear & servo clamps...

I was a little timid to order from the first tme from what I had read online but I called them up and asked some questions, they seemed like they had good customer service so I decided to order. Both orders showed up right away & packaged properly, All items were exactly what I ordered & they even matched competitors pricing on a few items.

I would definately give them a "thumbsup"for the customer service I have received so far, I would not hesitate to order from them again.

i,ve made an order or 2 some time ago, i dont remember any issues
as for the batt thing i think they are lucky none of those lipo,s that were charged above 1c didnt catch fire right on the charger:roll:..they are cheepie packs and those are the most sensitive to that kinda thing..i watched a buddy burn up a pack on the charger, he had it set for 1.8a but it was a 1500..charging batts between courses and not paying attention .lucky it was outdoors..thats just a fact i have no issue with them but if something like that happend (bad fire)via mislabeling i,m sure theres a whopper of a lawsuit there.

I have had great service from CKRC. I have stopped in the store several times when passing through. They treated me and my buddies real well. I recommend them for everyone. And call them for a price match.

Probably not really going the way ya was thinking it was gonna go huh Evil?????

It's going almost exactly as I figured. If I'd wanted it to be a total bitch fest, I'd have started the thread as a CKRC complaint thread, not so much a total feedback thread. As it is, it looks like about 10% of the people who shared stories has had problems that weren't resolved. It's one thing to have a 10% screw up rate, but to have that many unresolved is another matter. Either way, people can evaluate the thread for themselves.

Regardless, I'm surprised how many people that I thought really value this hobby seem so quick to forget all of the black marks that the owner of the company has put on the hobby...but that's a topic for a different converstion.

So is your actual complaint about the dealing you had or the instance that happened playing with the little toy trucks. It just seems like you got an issue that you need to get passed, and as far as the giveaway things goes everyone complained about CKRC but they was usually the first to jump on the i want free stuff train:roll:. I'm not saying they are perfect but no one is.......SOoooo in your eyes what would you like to see them do to become this perfect vendor you are wanting:ror:

My problem with them, personally, is the treatment that I received. Do I expect them to do anything about it now? No. If they cared to take care of me as a customer they wouldn't have given me shit when it happened and then hung up on me. The product was proven to not be as advertised, and they refused to do anything about it. It'd be one thing if this were an isolated incident, but look how many other products they've misrepresented over the years. Re-badged HR steering knuckles...300M shafts & gears? ...what else am I missing? (how long did it take for him to announce anything at all when he was outed for selling those? Wayyyyy too long.

That said, had I known when I dealt with them that King Bling was the owner, I probably wouldn't have, considering what he's done at more than one major competition. I'm not going to go into that too much since that's one topic that seems to get threads deleted faster than anything.

As for the giveaways, my ragging on him got him to finally honor one of the 3 giveaways that are over 6 months old, but never awarded. The other two, he still has not awarded. While, yes, the giveaways are free product for us non-vendors, they are also an easy and relatively cheap way for a large vendor like CKRC to get the word out about a particular product. They're relatively cheap advertising when you consider the number of people that you reach.

I don't think he'll ever be a "perfect vendor" (your words), but I'm just amazed every time I see a complaint about him or another misrepresented product why he's even still allowed to be a vendor at all.

While Amain is my first choice, I've ordered from CKRC many times and never had a problem. I also won a giveaway and yes, I received the product.

The only issue I've ever had with KB is the massive hangover I got at AWCC from drinking his free beer all night. :flipoff:

Giveaways are chances for paying members to possibly win free stuff. Still, its generally accepted that once the contest is over, a winner will be announced. After all, that's what you do when you have a giveaway, right?

Complaining about someone not handing out the prizes they said they would in a relatively timely fashion is a legitimate complain IMO. That's part of the deal. You announce a contest and the day it ends. A day or two after its over you announce the winner. Sometimes even a week may go by before the winner is drawn, and that is not totally unreasonable. People get busy, or if there are multiple contests running at the same time its easy to let one slip by. But to let it go longer than that makes you look either shady or like you just don't care.

These are toy trucks we are playing with, but for the most part we are all adults here. When adults promise something, they should do it when they say they will, no matter what its for.

My first two dealings with them were disappointments, since then I refuse to do business with them or enter any of their contests.

Not everyone. I don't enter giveaways from vendors I despise, I have standards! 8)

You act like RCC members turn a blind eye on CKRC which is farther than the truth. Our eyes are watching KB and CKRC very, very carefully.
I got banned from the Nationals Forum. (Still banned. Unless you are stupid beyond reason, I trust you can connect the dots.)

Don't EVER say we forgot or forgave him, we just moved on. Why don't you go watch TV or something?

If i was a total douche bag id pipe in about a ton of shit but im not going to:flipoff:

If you want Cheap order from CKRC, but i prefer Rpp, as they carry scaler parts out the A$$.

The one thing i will stand up for ckrc that a lot of ppl seem to B@$%* about is shipping, parcel shipping(free shipping) is through the postal service snail mail, which is 2-9 businesses days, and if it does not show up on that 9th day, they cant not file a claim until 12 days after. This doesn't include the CKRC 1-2days processing, so always pay for UPS ground at the min.

several orders from them never anything negative.. Place order, get parts. pretty much same as every other vendor on this sight..

RPP is still my first choice "thumbsup"

No Problems With CKRC

I have ordered at least 6 times from CKRC, (2 XR10's) and have had excellent service and shipping and communication. I have been into the shop at least 4 times and have watched other customers in front of me receive excellent service as I have.
Evil - you need to move on, they are toys.

I've only made one purchase from CRCK.

Bought two of the infamous 1500mah battery's only to find them to be 1300mah mystery lipo batteries repackaged with their name on them.
Called the shop, and was told they are not going to replace or refund sh1t.

Same here.Never bought from them again.Deleted them in my Favorites

I have bought from them once before I won the recent "Anything you want from the scaler section giveaway," no problems then.

After I won the giveaway I reasoned that I would not be a priority since I wasnt spending any money, that has nothing to do with CKRC as a business, just my thoughts on business.

I was sorely mistaken, I was contacted immediately about being the winner. I gave KING BLING my order that same day and by the next morning He let me know he had shipped it. 3 days later I had exactly what I asked for. I couldnt be happier with the way I was treated. That is not because I got free stuff but because I was treated very well and placed as a priority to the business.

I would definitly order from them again.

The last purchase I made from them was the CKRC HD LCC CVD's. These lasted about 1 month. The transaction was good, but the product was not.

World's 2009 = never shop there again.

3 orders without any problems. Bodies, scale items and the LCC cvd's (which I never used and gave them to the guy that bought my nib lcc) But all parts ordered were delivered within 2 days. Like any other place I buy stuff from. I'll deal with them until I get screwed or receive junk.

I think its stupid many of you are saying that these are just toys, that is not the matter of the fact. The matter that he is stating is that the company did not stand behind their product like they should have, I would expect the same. Not all of us have money flowing out our ass just to waste on these so caled "toys". I work hard for my money and want to spend it wisely.....:flipoff:

I personally have nothing bad to say about CKRC but if I spend money somewhere you better believe I am going to expect good customer service and good products.
