Opps sorry!! I have to learn the EB first, first lesson need to weight the tires a bunch, I had none. Also need to run a wire up high for my receiver, get the winch hooked up right, and put a cover over the motor. I think I finished last I think but had fun!!

I took him a while to start to drive it, but once he did you could tell he was having a blast. It was really cool seeing your old rig in person. It's amazing how much detail is lost in the pictures compared to seeing it and watching it work. It is a true piece of craftsmanship!

thanx for posting up all the awesome pics guys....cant wait till the next one....cant beleive my little yota made it through lol.....upon tear down just enough moisture to make an imprnt of the bottom of a ballon in the botom of my electronics box....i think im beginning to figure this water proofing thing outnot quite ready for submersion but close "thumbsup"

Pat and I talked about it and I think a big issue is that it was just too light for the suspension. With no weight in the wheels and plastic axles the suspension just didn't move like it should. Pat will have it more dialed in at the next one. "thumbsup"
The other issue was the antennae wire. He didn't run it out of the rx box and he ended up dead in the water in our tank trap when the rx went under water. It was the same scene from my run in the Tank Trap at Scale Nats. :ror:

I am using a 4pk have have gone under water and it still works. Mine is in a balloon.

Sometimes yer the windshield and sometimes yer the bug.

I had driven Pepe underwater before with no issues so I didn't worry about the rx's in Guido. Now that I look back though, Pepe's antennae goes up the snorkel tube so the antennae might not have been completely submerged.

The only thing I can think of is that if you go in the water and out quick it's not a big deal, it might also be about how deep the antennae is under water. It's not about the rx, it's about the antennae.

I can't say for sure what conditions the rx will work with the antennae underwater, but I do feel confident in saying that as long as the antennae is sticking up out of the water you are fine. Keep in mind, my experience is with Spektrum.

I have heard the Futaba acts differently around water but I've never used their system so I don't know for sure.

Scores.

Here is the break down:
The column titled Rock, Pull, etc. is the time plus penalties that the driver got on course. The column right next to it is the points the driver got by getting the best score, I.E. 100 points for 1st, 95 for second and so on.
The column titled scale are the scale points awarded to the driver which was added into the overall score. The overall score is points awarded for each course plus scale points awarded to get the total score for each driver.

Hope that all makes sense.
