Menifee-Temecula area crawlers

I hate to say it but the water got the best of me yesterday... I think my electronics fried but I am not to sure.... and I smoked my 12t yesterday... Did not have a good rc weekend... My RC4WD Winch dosent work... the Charger I bought almost smoked and burnt up my lipo battery and I think my Servo and ESC is done for... I am little bit upset.... Now I have to do some RD.... So I am looking at the CC Sidewinder SV2 But my question is is it a Brushed and Brushless system... meaning can I run a Brushed Motor On it... But sad to say the Game Warden is off the trail for a little while until I can afford to replace my stuff....

You should be able to run both. Even my old Mamba Max esc was brushless but could be used on a brushed setup. the wiring diagram was in the owner's manual. You should be able to go on Castle's website and download an owner's manual & see.

You may also be able to buy an AE-2 on ebay. Pretty similar and has lipo capability and drag brake. I got one for $53.50.
 
That was a bad ass video of the guys in Oregon!!!!!! Those are some rock crawling, mud slinging fools!!!!!!!! Can not wait. As soon as the SCX10 arrives I'll be doing some H2O proofing. just in case I fall into a puddle of mud!!!!! :lmao:

Well I have some great news... I let everything sit in the sun for a day and then I tested it all tonight... Great news.... The ESC is still in working condition the Radio is also good... Bad news my Hitech 7955tg servo just went up in smoke... sad but Ill have to replace only that... And I am going to count it This will be Number four Motor that I smoked up and had stop working on me... lol ... I am also start on some heavy duty.... HEAVY DUTY waterproofing of my junk box where my electronics sit so I dont have a problem with that... So the Game Warden will be out of commission for alittle bit until I can get the appropriate funds to get what I need... Unless some of my crawling buddies has a extra Hitech 7955tg Servo Laying around or even maybe the new servo that came out... stronger and more powerful.... lol.... And a 12t motor or a stock axial one... That I could buy off of them... lol SO anyways that made my day alittle bit I thought I was going to be down for awhile... lol
 
I have a titan motor and servo for you if u want it a axial servo top qualty one lol ohh and the titan motor little colling fin in side dont work

If your servo is under 2 years old Hitec will fix it for free if you have the receipt, if not they will charge you a small fee, I have never paid over $15 to have servos repaired.

Looking forward to joining you guys ... Can't decide between the honcho or wait till the Wraith comes out. Most likely the Wraith, since I have had too many 1.9 Axials.

I have a Honcho kit for sale if you change your mind. It's new in a box never used it.

So I'm sitting in my office just doing some BS work on the computer and I hear the UPS truck come to a stop outside my house. I start thinking that my batteries have arrived. As I go outside to greet the UPS driver I see the size of box that he has!!!!! I tell myself, "Those ain't no stinking batteries!!!!!!" You guessed it, the SCX10 Honcho arrived early. When I ordered it I was told between the 6th and the 8th, so I was very pleased to get it today. Now I just need those stinking batteries!!!!!!!
