Harley's XR10 #AX50062

Good luck at ECC Harley "thumbsup"

Lets see that blinged out rig on the podium!

So I noticed you got a chance to play with the new servo. Sounds like its a real high performance pro grade servo. Do you know, or could you ask your futaba tech if it is 100% metal drivetrain, or does it have that one plastic gear like Hitec?

Thanks man! Looking forward to the trip.

The servo still has that one plastic gear like the hitec. I have never had a problem with that gear though.

Wow that was quick Harley! Did you see the internals previously, or did you just have to have a look inside when you got it??

I've only had a problem once with that small plastic gear myself, and it was an 1/8 scale truggy. Just curious because Futaba has an excellent warranty anyway and have always repaired or replaced my buggy servos. If I get one of these for my XR, it will be the first time I've ran a futaba servo in a crawler

BTW

Here's a couple good luck "Harley Chicks"

I mean come on, they got your name all over em 8)

I was aware of the gear before so I didn't have to open it up.

I used to run Hitec servos exclusively but have been running the Futaba stuff for a few years now. This is hands down the best servo I've ever ran from any brand though.

There's something oddly contradictory about a couple Asian chicks in Harley Davidson gear. I can still dig it!

Awesome, informative thread "thumbsup" I just read all 37 pages this morning - don't tell the boss  Building my box stock XR this weekend and I have pulled some diamonds from these pages.

Thanks!

Well how did she run today???

I was extremely happy with the performance today. I ran the courses with some of the best in the country. It was pulling the lines that it should have but I can't say that I always chose the best lines though.

I didn't check the scores before I left. I finished 3 of 6 which is decent. I'll have to look them up later, probably tomorrow as we are eating, drinking and staring at some pretty decent waitress's now.
