Nope, solid aluminum it looks like, cause it's kinda shiny and course grain. Got it years ago from my Dad who got it many years ago from his. It's stabbed people, I'm told. It is the first of many knives and bayonets I'm to receive. Including war rifles (that accept the bayonets) and handguns.

Notice the edges, rough on the way in, easy on the way out. "thumbsup"
