Not my best course but good enough for today I believe.

Awesome build I love this truck. I was watching this clip tonight and noticed the angle on the left front tire at about 3 min in. That sucker looks like it pushing out to 80 or so deg:twisted:

Here are a few pics I have gathered from the people taking manning the cameras.

A little off-road racing?? jk. Congrats on your finishes."thumbsup""thumbsup"

The rain the night before and fine crushed limestone base created a freaking concrete like sludge that I had to clean out ASAP! I got caught on my lid with no points to roll over. It was messy!

New skins look great in the light of day.

Thanks man! I love the inner skins that Freq E Tag is offering, definitely worth the extra cost! They stay perfect!

Well I am down the tiny upgrades now at this point.

I got a PM from Fa1rch1ld and I am going to throw on a set of his aluminum screw sets. I'll use these in the low stress areas and areas that are supported in double shear. While I am at it I plan to change out the rod end balls to aluminum. I am not running super light at this point but keeping the bias down low is what I am looking at staying with.

Check out the screw kits here: http://www.rccrawler.com/forum/showthread.php?t=314056

Btw the sportsman rig works pretty well. Got some pics posted up in the ax-10 picture archive. I have some of my XR here also. Still rockin the stock gears and cases too. Thanks to doing the 10mm bearing mod."thumbsup""thumbsup"

How are you liking the width? Does it feel more planted that wide?

:)

I have been running the 475's up front for three comps now I think. I never felt like I was too wide, and I feel confident in the rigs ability to stick on side hills. So I would say, Yes, I like the width. The 600's in the rear are new and I will have to report back after some run time.

I noticed it in your avatar the other day I think. Glad you're running it!

I love the XR, takes some work but in the end it you can tell the advantages of some of the new design concepts brought into crawling by this rig.

i've been running 475's and 600's that came off my LCC. I also have LCC hexes which are just a shade narrower than the Axial hexes. Front width is 11 1/8" and rear is 10 3/4" on 1" V-4's and Sedonas."thumbsup""thumbsup"

do you have to run bent uppers with that lipo mount?

It is hard to give you a solid answer on that. It depends on your link positions and how far you want to clock the battery mount upwards. You can run the mount parallel with the ground if you want and then you would likely be able to run straight links. With my current setup I don't know that straight links is an option for sure or not.
