Are this losi springs?

Are this losi springs?

Yes they are Losi rear Mini-T springs. Greens (medium) in the rear and softs (silvers) in the front. I really like the spring rates. The SCX-10 shocks are super smooth, small, and light. "thumbsup"

Looking good man!
What does the twist accomplish? Smooth it out?

Exactly. I ran the motors in dual mag cans for a while and they were almost as smooth as a nice quad mag can. Now I am going to put them in KR cans with standup hoods and see how I like that setup. "thumbsup"

You'll like them in the 4 mags. I put mine in some Kr cans over the weekend!
Got some 5 segs coming to try next. Dyno sheet looks great on them!

So what do you prefer....big bores with mini t's or scx10'a with mini t's??

SCX10's, they are smoother.

what WT oil are you using in those shocks??
and are those Jeepin doug mini t spring cups??
thanks

70wt in the SCX's feels like 30 in a 3 hole piston. I wouldn't run any lighter oil unless it was crazy cold out. They are either the JeepinDoug ones or some my friend made for me, I don't remember which. But essentially the same thing.

Looking forward to seeing this on Saturday Shelby!

Thanks Brian can't wait, should be interesting with all the XR's. "thumbsup"

Well, I had some winks rear lowers that weren't working out on the front axle case on the rear. I de-bent them to match the bend of the Crawler Innovations high clearance delrin links and now they work great! I also added the D-Lux sliders.

Those pics are from Battlegrounds this past weekend. Thank you Steven and 3Jeeps for the pics!

I know we talked for a minute, but I wish I had gotten a chance to watch you run some more. Your truck was looking good.

Thanks Harvo, it was handling awesome. Unfortunately though I wallowed out the front upper link mount screw holes and it was pulling off the case. I think it happened when I jumped through gate 8 on the first course. :ror:

Hi Shelby

If got a Question about your Lower Links. How long are they?? form eye to eye??
And what typ of rodends do you use on the Shocks??

I hate to answer for shelby...but since I was just chating with him about his scx10 shocks I can tell you he uses Losi comp crawler angled rod ends....8)

Yep, they work perfectly on those shocks to give you the 4" shock you need for the BJ chassis. "thumbsup"

Thanks Guys. I used the LCC angled rod ends with the SCX-10 shocks on the berg. But because I am running the XR10 front case front and back, I didn't have to use as long of a rod end on this rig. I used some long axial ones that came with the XR10 shocks I believe.

LCC rod end tip credit to JeremyH. "thumbsup"

Also, I got this rig in some serious binds this weekend without any popping noises. Seems like the RC4WD gears are the real deal. "thumbsup"

Yeah, I must say, this truck is holding up better than I have ever seen it do before..."thumbsup"
