ME TOO!!! shipped today, hello 2.4GHz GOOD BYE my old ass MX3 FM lol YAY!

Does anyone know what recievers are compatible with the 4PL? Only the R2104GF? Seems a bit overkill for some uses, especially as it's $50.

Edit: I found the answer on Futabas home page, figures! I've looked before but probably missed it then. R2104GF, R603GF and R2004GF!
Edit2: Seems like they're $50-60 anyways, crap!!!

hey harley, can i run my dual fxr's and cc bec(6.0v) with the red wires connected in the ecs's as long as there both set the same or NO they have to be unplugged with a bec no matter what?

Alright guys. I noticed something a little odd and I need some help. I was noticing when I connected my cc mamba micro's and ran my rig I was seeing what appeared to be a surge in power after holding down the throttle for a second. Nothing had been done to change the esc profiles. I had not put much thought into it and then hooked up my radio and a new rx to my slash 4x4. I went to run it in the street and I noticed almost a turbo effect while on full throttle. This makes me think I have something in the radio that is setup to cause this surging or some kindof traction control setup or something. Anyone know how to make this go away?

Any news on the life battery yet? # FT2F2100B

Battery life sucks with 4 rechargeable Nimhs, even with backlight turned off

Still can't say anything about the battery but I can say I fixed my surging issue (I think). On the throttle screen 2 the settings for Fd and Bk at the bottom come at zero. I set them to 100 as well as making sure speed was at 100. I think that got it from what I can tell.

The programming does not allow for a momentary switch on the DTs, only on the pushbutton but that's only 2 positions and you need 3. The "speed" change would be instant, no ramping.

One idea is to use channel 4 with a reversing module, just a relay that crosses the wires to the winch, and setup channel 3 to the pushbutton to turn the winch ESC on or off momentary (Futaba calls this "alternate" I think). Then channel 3 could also be controlled by a on/off relay and you won't get any creeping.

So am I understanding this right....there is no way to make the DT3 switch spool the winch out when pushed forward, spool in when pushed back, and stopped when you let go of the switch and it returns to center? That's how my old Nomadio was set up and I'm having issues getting used to doing it differently . I have the Heyok winch controller on a 7955 as my servo winch. Thanks guys....loving my 4pl other than that.

Alright. I attempted to deal with a concern that I was not getting the trottle message right at the rig I made an adjustment to the throttle profile that absolutely did not work at alllllllll. Don't do what I did. I think it was the forward and reverse settings that totally screwed up the duel esc mix.

That's correct Tim. Sorry, I wish it was an option also.

Hello all, Harley great tutorial on the 4PL worked like a charm. My question is trying to set up a servo winch on my scaler, any suggestions on which switch to program it to? If it will work at all etc...
