Harley's XR10 #AX50062

Harley what links do you run on your XR.. What does the VP motor plate up grade change?? And is it worth doing or wait til something breaks?? I just got rc4wd gears in the mail and VP trans cases. Should that be enough??

I run custom bent Ti links, Chaotic makes links similar for the BJv4 just with less crazy bends.

I suggest the motor plate along with the trans cases. The trans case is really only half the battle. You need to change all the stock 8mm bearins to 10mm in my opinion. There are also DIY options like drilling out the plate and buying 9mm flanged bearings. I just like knowing my plate has been machined properly so thats why I say VP.

Look what is on it's way to me for final testing! The only one in existence right now. I'll be testing it this weekend in Omaha at the NSCA comp. Looking forward to bolting it up.

Very cool!!! I'm glad these are being made and VP didn't forget about the XR10 once they started going crazy making Wraith parts. I'm looking forward to hearing when these are gonna be available.

This maybe a stupid question:oops: but why aren't they making top and bottom axle cases instead of just the tops and does every thing VP have to cost so stinking much..:ror: Don't get me wrong VP stuff is awesome but they are breaking my bank..:lmao:

Many of us have expressed how nice it is to have the plastic bottom that slides well over the rocks. I don't really have any desire to have an aluminum bottom. Now if a Delrin version were available I'd probably run it just because :ror:
