What shoes do you wear for a day on the rocks?

Summer: Reef flip flops

Fall: Merrell hiking shoes

Winter: Asolo 520's....best boots hands down!!!!

In Michigan spring is a mix of all three :lmao:

I bought a set of these
http://www.vasque.com/vasque-shoe/7316-vasque/7316-vasque-mens-mantra-graphite-gray
and have added the Work Shop cushions and Dr Schol's custom fit orthotics to them. I've only used the once while out with my Scaler (they worked well in one spot, but the other was still under water), but also had them at Road America, where they shined on some of the extra steep grass/rock inclines by turn 7 far better than the regular tennis shoes I wore last year.

I wear a Van's style shoe. The sole has not "void" so constant traction whereever my feet are positioned. I tried in some New balance running shoes but the big lugs and gaps messed me up.

They make the most comfortable low top ever too. Warning though... not so good on wet creek rocks.

Great support and protection from when your food gets wedged in the rocks too."thumbsup"

Haha, that's funny,I'm somewhat prone to slipping a shoe or two into the water whenever it's near.:ror:

Why do you wedge your food in the rocks?:ror:
