Best Beef Jerky you had?

Yes the best jerky I have had is off road jerky. I have had a lot of different kinds from home made to many different store brands.

Which of the off-road jerky's would you recommend?

And how much do you get with one order?

Not sure why but my favorite is Whiskey BBQ and its not oh the site. Second favorite would be sweet & spicy.

Well I can eat a bag pretty quick. I maybe wrong but if I remember right you get like 5 large pieces in one bag.

Home made Spicey Buffalo by a 1st CLass Sonar Tech on a Cruiser I was on in the early 90's. Stuff would make you sweat and cry for more. His beef was great too. The guy had it down to a science and when we were deployed, he would have his wife send him boxes of it and he would see dime bags.

Best jerky I ever had was from a company called like cascade jerky/road kill cafe in NW Oregon.

We were on our way home from the sand lake dunes in Oregon and decided to take a different highway that cut over torward Portland to avoid construction. Well we were out in the middle of BFE when we came into this small town where this guy had a stand setup outside an old gas station, he had tubs of samples of just about everything type of jerky (beef jerky, deer jerky, elk jerkey, salmon jerky, buffalo jerky, bison jerky, trout jerky and more), he had different flavors for each kind of jerky. We were kinda leary at first cause a few miles be4 we got to the town he had signs saying "road kill cafe ahead" lol but the name was actually like cascade jerky I believe, but holy chit it was the best stuff I ever had and everyone from our group thought so too.

I used to have his business card, he had a website u could order from but I haven't been able to find it on the net so ill have to drive through there the next dune trip to get some more.

Rottenbelly's home made Vension Jerky will make you want to slap yourself.

Seriously, though... it's so damn good.

Had the Off-road Jerky at ECC this year it was good but I like my jerky really dry, it was a little too moist for me.

I like the stuff I make over any store-bought jerky.

I have never had any commercial jerky that I liked better than homemade stuff. Close as I have come is Wild Bills which I think is more local to the Omaha NE area. It is very dry, takes you awhile to get through it and thats what I like.

best i have tasted was a homemade venison jerkey. mmmmm8)

Deer jerky is probably at the top of my list.
