the firefighters themselves actually wanted to put the fire out..that is what they do but were ordered to stand down, its a shame, yup the homeowner was irresponsible but i think the fire could of been put out and the homeowner charged for the service or they could of accepted the 500 offered at the time..i dont like freeloaders either but i think they will drain far more resorces now..the county was offered grant money for figherfighting but i think turned it down, i,ll have to look back in this thread to find out why, i dont like big govt but this is the kinda thing (essential service) where no one should falls through the cracks even if it due to their own stupidity

I grew up on commercial sites, and have seen many fights between trades. Iron workers are often some of the toughest acting guys on the job.

Do me a favor, go to the hardware store, buy a box of 16d doulplex nails, when you can bend it with your bare hands in a 45* angle, then you can rip a mans nose off his face with a thumb and fore finger, thats what us form setters do to test our strengths. Nope, never worried much about iron workers, I can throw my vaughn just as far and accurate as you can your wrench also.
 
I got to work a while ago and drank a cup of coffee......then I smashed the SHIT out of that styrofoam cup!
