I'll try that on the next Willys
very nice build thread"thumbsup"
Great Build,
Where do you get the body?
Here's the driver's side mount, which also mounts the front bumper (not pictured).

That should be very much in the ballpark.
I used aluminum for mine. Which had me doing a lot of creative cutting and manipulation. I even had to make a little jig to bend one part accurately.
Looks to me like you arrived at the same point with 1/8th the time and effort!! I should've used steel
Hammer Time!!!!
Looking spot-on so far Tommy. Nice work on the front end setup.
The TSL's look pretty good! I came very close to going with them, but I was afraid they'd be too small...
Man. lookin good....another great track bar mount.....I need to dig back into mine, dump the 4 link, add the track bar and move the servo....between you and Mike..your killin me !!
I like the bumper there Tommy! "thumbsup"
BTW, you going to run this rig in C3 at your comps?
Oh yeah....I found your new driver, and its 1:6 scale.

I like that front bumper, it looks like it would slide right past rocks on the sides and the tires won't get snagged on it. Do you have any issues w/ the front tires
rubbing against the shocks/springs at full steering lock? I got so annoyed at my Orange Jeep w/ the tires turning the pre-load collars that I switched to the internal white 'scale' shocks even though the SCX-10 shocks worked so much better.
Looking good .
Nice Jeep!
I really like the white wagon wheels, but they may simply not have the offset I need to work on this truck.
Damn! :x the white classic wheels look so nice. They have to work somehow.
Could you make or have made a thicker inside piece that would give you more track width? ? Maybe wide hexes with barrel nuts?
Kind of extreme, but those wheels really belong on there. No matter what color you pick, they look great...
