Whats wrong with the Canadians?

Yeah, it's warmed up from yesterday to about -36 with the wind. Yesterday was sitting about -45. We looked like a community of electric cars with everyone's block heaters plugged in (half the people reading this are probably wondering what a block heater is ).

Supposed to warm up to the freezing mark by weekend. Only in Alberta.

MMMMM, it's like a slab of bacon that walks and talks!

Have any of the Canadians gotten any decent snow falls yet?? It's mid January and it' still 55* here, where's my gaddammmmed snow???
we dont get much in vancouver..wish we got more, right now theres a few inches that fell last w/e and will be gone by this w/e..pretty cold though..not as bad as chris gets it in alberta but it got down to -16 last night

What about bearding for the sport of bearding?
hmm its irritating enough in support of a sport..:ror: would be itchy scratchy crazy if it was "the sport"..i smell a bearding thread coming..lol, its winter nows the time

I'm not complaining too much. Yeah, it's been insanely cold this week, but that happens every year. Other than this week, it's been above freezing pretty much every day this winter. We hardly have any snow around at all. One of the best winters I can remember since moving back to the prairies.

What about up at Whistler? That was one of my favorite places to ski when I could go outside of Seattle for a ski trip. Crystal Mt. was a great local place, but nothing like the culture/night life of Vancouver.

Winter, wait, it's winter? Hummm......feels warm outside to me. :ror:
damn you:ror:..well at least the summers here are fairly comfortable you will recall "thumbsup"

whistler is doing good according to the chart:ror:
Whistler Weather & Mountain Conditions - Tourism Whistler is the Official Web Site of Whistler, BC
not sure about the nightlife so much..depends on what kinda trouble you like to get in:ror: vancouver has been tagged as a no fun city, not really sure why.. maybee due to the bars closeing at 2am i guess..now its 3am but we had alot going on culture and scenery wise..i guess in the season whistler has a good after hours scene

I wasn't bashing, I was asking a legitimate question at the time. All the northeners seemed to have a bee in their bonnet and i wanted to know why.

It's OK, we're over it. Bieber lives in Hollywood. He's your problem now. Don't let him get under your skin though. Celine's in Vegas so she's yours too.

By the way, there's no Canadian bacon in Canada, that's an American name. Up here it's called back bacon.

3 year update?

I live in Alberta and with oil tanking everyone is running around like a chicken with its head cut off in panic. Meanwhile, almost all of the other provinces are starting to get nervous that we might take the rest of Canada down with us.

So yeah, still just cranky Canadians. Although, I hear it's possible to smoke weed till you forget you're unemployed.

I'm not cranky, I'm excited for beer in my face when I am done work though. I think cranky Canadians live to close to or in a city. I find cities to be the cause of stress and general bad moods. That's why I don't mind living in a small town, with not many people.

I'm actually kind of happy that the temps are going up for the weekend, with flurries on Saturday. That means snow crawling. Or snow football. Too bad our big ass pond won't stay frozen enough for hockey. A balmy -1degC or 30degF for y'all
